How this website handles your information, in plain language.

What you type in. When you fill out a form on this site you may give me your name, phone number, email address, a property address, your price range, where and what you are looking to buy, your timing, and anything you write in a message box. You choose what to enter. Nothing on this site requires you to give information in order to read it.
What is collected automatically. Like most websites, this one records technical details of your visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, and the site or ad that sent you here. My contact-management system also places a small tracking script on each page that records that activity and, if you later submit a form, connects it to you.
I do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, income documentation, or credit information through this website. If you are applying for a loan, that happens with a lender, on the lender's own system, not here.
I use it to answer you, to provide real estate services you have asked about, to send you market information if you asked for it, and to keep the records a licensed agent is required to keep. That is the whole list. I do not sell your information, and I do not rent or trade it to anyone for their own marketing.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to complete a transaction you have asked me to work on.
Where a form has a consent box, checking it is your permission for me to contact you by phone, text and email about what you asked about. You do not have to check it to reach me — the phone number is on every page.
You can stop hearing from me at any time. Reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just tell me. Message and data rates may apply to texts. I will act on an opt-out request however it reaches me.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for what a website should do with it, and this site does not currently change its behavior in response to one. The tracking script described above runs on every page. If you would rather not be tracked, your browser's privacy settings and tracker-blocking extensions will stop it, and the site will still work.
Write to me at cledesma@intero.com and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California's Consumer Privacy Act sets thresholds that a business my size does not meet, so it probably does not apply to me — but I will honor those requests anyway, and I will not treat you differently for making one.
This site is served over an encrypted connection and the services above are password-protected. No website can promise perfect security, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What I can tell you is that I do not ask for sensitive financial information here, so there is little of that kind to expose.
This site is meant for adults buying and selling homes. It is not directed to children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
